Tattoo Artist License

Florida Department of Health in Nassau County Environmental Health

Any person wanting to perform tattooing as an Artist in Nassau County must submit a completed application for tattoo Artist, training documentation, government issued identification and applicable fee to the Florida Department of Health – Nassau County and be granted a license prior to operation. The permit year runs from the date of license issue to one year, minus one day from date of issue. Licenses must be renewed annually; failure to renew on time will result in the assessment of a late fee and/or inactivation of permit.
