The Florida Department of Health in Nassau County’s coordinates the County Medical Indigent Program (CMIP) and the Health Care Reimbursement Act (HCRA) for Nassau County.
County Medical Indigent Program (CMIP)
The CMIP Program provides financial assistance to eligible Nassau County residents needing specialty physician services.
Health Care Reimbursement Act (HCRA)
The HCRA Program offers financial reimbursement for health care services provided by hospitals to individuals deemed financially indigent. The HCRA reimburses health care facilities outside of Nassau County that can provide emergency or life-threatening services.
