The mission of the Florida Department of Health in Nassau County is to protect, promote, and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county, and community efforts.

With the support of our community partners, the Florida Department of Health in Nassau County is able to develop and implement health initiatives that benefit our residents and visitors.

Our public health professionals are dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities through the mission of the agency.

Through partnerships, interventions, best practices, community assessments, communication, education, and our committed staff, we will succeed in making a difference for individuals, families, and our community.

The "No Wrong Door" Resource Guide for local support exists to assist a greater number of community members independently or with assistance find resources available for Nassau County residents. There will be No Wrong Doors when using this guide to find the support you or someone you are helping need to thrive in the community.
